Nothing done today

Well that's not completely true. I got started working on blog site and trying to understand it and how to make changes. I have not even picked up a needle but did make cassorole. It is rainning harder and is chilly. I don't even know where my comfy sweater is. I have one the kids want to hide but I love it. Now I had best do dishes and get some Bible study done as I have lesson to do next Tuesday. I wonder who reads blogs.
I love quilters blogs and love the color and ideas and a glimpse into the lives of others in other countries. Off to do the things that need done. I love my home and love taking care of it, always have.

program from great evening

Work in progress

Rain and gloom Love it

It is rain and drizzle and a perfect day for cooking up some soup and getting some quilting done.
Had a great time last night at our church. They hosted "An Evening with C.S. Lewis" The gentleman portraying Lewis was wonderful. If you like Lewis, as I do, it was an hour of pleasure to be sure.
I am working on applique project and had decided to applique it with buttonhole stitch and did not like it at all so took it out. Now I am starting again.
It is Holly Hobby not Sun Bonnet Sue and is from large stencil I had put back for "one of these days". Had a fabric that gave me idea for fall wall hanging and am putting together as I go along. We will see how it ends up.

Applique rocking chair covers

A beautiful fall day in Ohio

It is a perfect fall day in Ohio. I have so much to learn about blogging and wonder if I will ever understand it.
I think I will get my camera going and put some photos up on the blogsite.
I am working on a hexagon quilt in the quilt frame. I am also making a wall hanging and have 3 Inklingo projects going as well.
I also have a Sashiko project going so I can learn this method as I really want to learn to do this to add to Hawaiian quilting that I hope to learn this year.
I think I have enough to keep me busy.

I love fall

I love fall. I love the weather, color and everything about it.
I don't know how to work this blog and I think I am going crazy trying to figure it out.
Working on patience as we wait for results of test to see if cancer spread in husband or local at site it was found.
Have so many quilt projects started that I decided what I needed was to start one more. So I did.
